Delete Kids & Teen Chat

i'll spare everyone several paragraphs & keep this one as simple as possible

if the problem is pedophiles & they being the primary reason everyone thinks im crazy for wanting to remove the mods

then why dont we just elimate the sources that attract these complete creeps & that be the kid & teen chats

why are children even on a chat site that directly exposes them to sex to begin with!!! has anyone ever considered that?

i think we should jusr call it a day & restrict all minors from coming here & deleting the kids & teen chats that way the pedophile problem will solve it self & maybe then we can get rid of either the ignore feature or the mods!!!!

the obvious choice unless youre a weirdo is yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!!

There are other rooms with pedos in them. They are an unfortunate fact of life in any chat site. Getting rid of those two rooms won’t get rid of pedos. Also, moderators serve many purposes besides kicking pedos. Removing moderators from a chat site only makes it worse.
 
Swatting flies with sledge hammers rarely gets the desired results. Neither does deleting popular chat rooms, out of fear creeps are there. Creeps are an issue not unique to this site either.

Can't see how removing moderators (in your other suggestion thread) keeps rooms safe. How on earth does deleting some chats, (thus pushing young users to other rooms,) that you would have depleted of all mods, make the slightest bit of sense....

Then I'm a weirdo; deleting the entire chat to get rid of a few pedos will accomplish nothing; they'll just move into different rooms and post stuff there as well.
All of the rooms deal with pedos, so singleing out KC and TC is kinda stupid, as is wanting to "remove mods."
They are there to ensure that pedos and idiots are kicked for breaking the rules; if we removed them, what would happen?
become even more of a hellhole and pedo-infested environment???
 
the amount of creeps & pedos we go thru a day js to clear out of the room are basically the same people on new , fresh guest accounts.

removing us & two chat rooms bc of the pedos would js cause those same people to move elsewhere & cause more harm to other people.

we handle reports & things almost instant & i know that me & other mods randomly go thru the userlist clearing out those kos names.

if anything, remove guest accounts 😭
 
I think the sentiment here isn't necessarily less predators, but less targets. If there were no minors on this site, then there would be no minors to be targeted / exposed to explicit content. It wouldn't necessarily change the number of predators, but it may change the number of minors being preyed upon.

Unfortunately though, as we all know, making rules doesn't make rule followers. You can set the age to anything you want, everyone lies. And of course, if we go a step further by removing mods, then there's no one to enforce the 'no minors' rule and we're back to where we started.

I'm not casting a vote on this particular suggestion, I just wanted to offer a slightly different interpretation of OP's post.
 
There are pedos everywhere, schools, churches, everywhere, not just this chat site and not just in those two rooms and not just online

The root cause of the problem is the pedos, why don't we focus on removing them rather than punishing us the victims by removing a place where we can go, locking us in our rooms is not the way to resolve it
