Double Standards with Furries

I understand most mods won't know every little thing about each term and fandom, but would be wonderful if they'd either just flat out say no to all furry work or learn to tell the difference between it and beast. So many times I see them allow some furry stuff and deny others based on artstyle (Like My little Pony or World of Warcraft). Can be truly feel targetted over people who should be kicked or banned yet their accounts are over years old or even VIP

Being a furry is on the same level of liking star wars or other fantasy worlds, more or less a human with animal features. Not to mention most furries aren't into beast, it's just a few cases that are drawn attention. Regardless I understand there are side ones (none for furry, not that it's the only thing I post) but most the users don't even know about em or use em. Plus I think it's unfair to be kicked 30+ minutes without an idea of what flagged it nor allowed to plead your case but anyone posting Loli or shota are ignored.

Long story short, I went on vacation years ago and ended up staying at some motel. When we woke up the next morning the place was overly packed full of people. Come to find out there was a furry convention being held there that night. I ended up talking to some who were going to attend trying to figure out myself exactly what it was and whether or not it was just some sort of sex thing. Come to find out, it was more like a cosplay/comicon thing and sex wasnt even part of anything they would be doing that evening.

Could there be instances of other things where it becomes sexual? I suppose so as Ive seen people in our room try to discuss incredibly off fetish's like popping waterbeds. Anyway, Thats just my experience, or I guess run-in not really experience with the subject. I myself dont see it and automatically assume pervert.

There r a few kinks in the adult rooms that i have seen mods kick immediately. Its worth educating them. There shouldnt be kink shaming with anything legal. I dont understand if a gif is posted of a big monster dragon having funn with a human how it gets put as beast... its an adult room. Fantasies should be allowed.
They need to be reminded of who or what r they protecting by kicking a "furry" for a fantasy. Fox tail plugs doesnt mean someone wants to be with a real fox for example.
Keep educating. ❤️‍🔥

They get lumped in with the zoophiles because many people just hate them and never explain why. To me, it's no different than people who dress up as their favorite characters. Are there crazy people like that couple who murdered a dog and were going to skin it to make an outfit? Sure, but there's crazy in everything.

this thread reeks of BO and the last day (furry day) of the weekend at the con.

seriously your behind a screen. use the side room (or make one up) better yet find a site that caters to con stuff/furies. even at a con furies are a side hustle 9 times out of 10 in some obscure hallway far away from the main floor. the 10th time they are put in a room between security and the employee bathroom.

To the OP: I think you raise a valid discussion point.

Beastiality (humans having sex with animals like dogs or horses) is clearly a bannable offense here. Full stop.

But things get a little grey when we get into the area of fictional monsters, tentacles, and things like that. The whole furry area adds another layer of complexity. I think it is up to the admins (in consultation with chatmaster) to determine clear guidelines for their respective rooms and the mods can enforce those guidelines. Just my 2 cents.

You made your point earlier. No need to spam the thread with that many gifs. Do you have anything meaningful to contribute to the discussion?
oh dahling ... i know EXACTLY what you mean .... BUT ! ..... as they say in entertainment ... " A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words "

go fuck yourself middle finger GIF
and since you being sucha mini modding old maid ... wait .. ARE you the forums mod ?

or just a control freak typa person .... i'm not " Spamming the thread " as you so harshly accuse me of .

i thought the idea here was to be having fun ... intellectual discourse asides ..... communication comes in many forms

ya got sumthin against individuals expressing thier ideas and views through creative content as in .. ie .. gifs ?

and pray tell what do YOU have that is meaningful to add to the " discussion " ? Besides being a rude snob

I agree with Cindy Lou Who about what she types about The Difference who has turned into a mini HR. But the thing about the My Little Pony fetish and dressing up and identifying as a furry....Brandon Scott Hole was a 19 year old with a My Little Pony fetish. He identified with a character Applejack. He shot and killed 8 people including himself at a Fed Ex location. He did not identify as a furrie but did as a Brony. I have not studied these subcultures but per the news these subcultures have some dark and disturbing elements.
You have a right to express yourself however you want but these type of expressions often go outside of reality. Please do not buy any guns.
