Easy Solution: America needs to start arming all the school kids. make it mandatory they all practice at the range. That way if any school shooter comes in, he will already be eliminated before he manages to take anybody out.

the leading cause of death among children and adolescents, defined as persons 1 to 19 years of age. Since when was 18 and 19 yo Children? When you remove this statistic the leading cause of death changes dramatically. This is what you get when you manipulate the research data.
 
Its is not a gun problem. A weapons ban on AR's will do nothing. School shootings have been happening Long before the invention of the centerfire round and Semi-Automatic weapons.

Only two children survived.

The first known mass shooting in the U.S. where students were shot, was on April 9, 1891, when 70 year old, James Foster fired a shotgun at a group of students in the playground of St. Mary's Parochial School, Newburgh, New York, causing minor injuries to several of the students. The majority of attacks during this time period by students on other students or teacher, usually involved stabbing with knives, or hitting with stones.

Guns are very much the problem and always have been. You giving the history of school shootings makes no sense. The fact it's been going on this long unchecked actually weekend your argument. Even if people are fine with not banning ARs (which Stewert didn't mention banning them in the clip) were still met with political hacks and lobbyists who are controlled by the NRA who think something so simple as registering a firearm violates your "freedom". You have to register your car, when you apply for a lone, home ownership, to vote, etc, why is owning a weapon designed to incapacitate someone, violating ones rights?

Every time this happens, Republicans and conservatives use the mental illness argument, then followed up with "thoughts and prayers". As a believer in God, let me tell you, prayers aren't going to fix this and no God would allow innocent people to die at the hands of some deranged lunatic with Neo Nazi beliefs. God didn't allow some 5 year old to get their face blown off, the country did.

You can't keep harping on mental health anytime a school gets shot up then make drastic cuts on medicaid and ignore calls for logical gun laws that keep guns out of the hands of these people who almost always obtain their AR-15 legally. There's no reason someone who couldn't pass basic training because of mental problems, should have been allowed to purchase a gun.

Remember years ago when the Right were saying these shootings wouldn't happen in Republican States, boy were they wrong.
 
Serbia just had two mass shootings in back to back days but their country doesn't have complete jackasses who purchase an AR-15, put on a MAGA hat and say "ehehe....I'm a PATRIOT!". They actually care and looked to fix a problem before it started to become a trene.

And what happens in America after every school/mass shooting? The sales of guns go up. It would be like people purchasing large quantities of fentanyl when the overdose rates go up (another problem the Republicans want to ignore and decrease funding for).

Just because you do not understand the facts as given does not make them incorrect. And like I said your study says that 18 and 19 year olds are children. Why not include 20 yo also just to pump the numbers. If you scew the data of course you can manipulate the studies findings. The facts are its not about guns its about evil people and you just can't wrap your small mind around that.
Logically just like Newton's Law of Motion. An object at rest will remain at rest until acted upon. A fire arm does nothing with out someone using it for good or evil. I'm sorry that is just fact.
