Girls Chat Positivity

Does anyone have anything planned or something you wanna do for Pride Month? As for me the answer is no. There’s never really anything going on around here for it. So for me it’s more about acknowledging it and spreading awareness and standing up for our community in any way I can in my own small way. What are some of your thoughts ladies? 🥰

I mean, pride month in Sydney is Feb, but I always like going to Fair Day and the parade.

I know that in my country alone the pride draws were already held on May 20, but now around the whole month of June this is also celebrated everywhere! Unfortunately I can't be there either, but I will support them! 😊
 
So the last couple days or so I’ve seen some ******** engage with the douchebag in chief, aka Corey. 🤢🤮. My message is this, just don’t. That’s what he wants. To cause disruption and troll our room. He’ll never be banned unless he starts posting cp or something which I don’t see happening. So ignore him. He hates that. When he posts “zzz’ that means he’s bored and frustrated no one is paying attention to him. That’s when it’s time to laugh at him 😂😂. That’ll bring a lot more positivity to our room. 🥰 Love y’all 😉
 
Unfortunately there has been an increase of pedos in the room too like 34cheerdad, retiredinpa, and workeatsleeprepat who is on their at least fourth account now.

This is such great advice. I know it’s tempting to engage trolls but DarthErica is right. If you completely shut him out by ignoring him he will eventually go away.
As for the pedos they are an unfortunate part of any chat room. Quickly identifying them and reporting them to the staff is the best defense. 💪🏻

Definitely report them. Take screenshots and send to @Amaisey or any of our mods. That’s what they volunteer their time for. Sadly just like in the real world the pedophiles will always exist. It’s up to all of us to be diligent and report them so action can be taken. Of we all stick together and go about it the right way we can achieve a lot 🙂

I just wanna say thank you to all my friends in Girls Chat. For accepting me for who I am. That’s all I try to do in my personal life is present who I am. I recently faced some transphobia here on forums. But it’s nice to know that you..all my friends in Girls Chat, you are the best in the world, accept me. I owe a very special thanks to @Simply Karina who has always had my back and is someone I definitely look up to and take inspiration from. With you all I find what this thread is all about. Positivity! You’re all very special to me. I hate that I got wrapped up in drama here. But alas I’m only human and sometimes we need to push back against hate. Hugs around! 🤗

We all get ourselves caught up in drama sometimes, none of us are immune to that 😛

Anyone who knows you would agree that youre a lovely person all around and I for one and grateful to call you a friend. People had opinions they day we were born and people will have opinions until the end. My aunt always told me this, "let them believe what they want, they have to live with it but we dont". It takes weakness to spread hate and courage to spread positivity. You, my dear, are a very strong person. Plus you know my usual saying "it is the internet after all" 😂 Dont let people get you down, just keep being you because you are wonderful to have around 💜

Thank you Karina. I appreciate that. 🥰. Sometimes it’s easy to forget how hateful and bigoted people can be until you face it personally. It kinda brought me back to when I was younger and dealing kids in school. Not the most pleasant of memories. That’s why I’m grateful for the people I have in my life now and all you my friends here. Too many to name 😊. I’m trying to make better choices and not get caught in stuff. That’s why I posted previously about not engaging with he who shall not be named, but it rhymes with story 🤣🤣.
