I had a PS4 for a while, but about 2 years or so ago I had looked into PCs, I then watched tutorials on how to build it, and I built it and it didn’t explode, yay! And I would say if you have the money and time to build one, it’s worth it cause it can work 3x better then consoles depending on the specs, also it can do so much more things. The one I built 2 years ago was about a mid range at the time, spent around $900 and it’s worth it imo. And I am now planning to build a new updated one in a few weeks.

I have a Xbox, my friend have PS4. We are both completely satisfied with our consoles, but I think it is better to buy a powerful computer that can be used for other purposes

ps4 is easiest imo and you can get cheap games since it's been out so long but I need a gaming computer for everyday use since everyday use computers don't seem to be able to handle it.

And here’s the update to that. She’s 2 years old now. And finally 100% complete from the recent GPU upgrade I added a few months ago since it was finally in stock for not $1000. Only thing I might upgrade in future is some better and sexier cables… also in this entire time I’ve had it I’ve probably only gamed like a few time with it 🫠 I literally only mod on this overkill mess. Worth around $2000 in total. But it can do everything speedy and easy! And now my PS4 is only used when I need to watch any blue Ray movie I have. Maybe used once a year. Have the VR too but I only used it like twice and forgot about it. Anyways she’s a beast. PC >>

FML i am impressed. That looks badass.

First of all, your rig looks amazing! Really nice job. The purple looks great 👌🏻
I used to game on an old Xbox 360 (don’t judge) and I recently bought myself a PS5 as a Christmas present. I’ve only played COD on it so far but it blows me away how good the graphics are. I have a pretty nice 65” 4k tv so that probably helps. But almost everyone I know who is into serious gaming says PC are the best. Especially when you do what you did and build them yourself.

As of right now PC and PS are neck and neck in the voting lol

I could’ve went with basic parts for about half price with same performance but I wanted it to look great for my own aesthetic. I consider it a piece of art. I had my gamer phase like 2016-2019 and thought I was just taking a “break” so I bought the parts and built it. Yea no real good games really have come out since so I have nothing to really play that interests me. So yea I don’t regret investing in it but she’s a badass and that’s all that matters!

PC.
Most consoles are just trying be a less updatable and customizable PC these days. I used to be about PS and PC but the ps5 is far too expensive and has few games so far. Any Xbox game will come to Steam or Xbox game pass anyways, and can be a better experience. And the switch has games but with the failed hardware of the switch you might as well emulate on a Steam Deck for some high frame rates and 4k action.

I really don't think console gamers know how much freedom they lack and what potential is in an even cheap PC.

Xbox started over vamping their system first, which originally left PS2 behind in graphics, but now they're both pretty much aware that eventually people throw away these game systems, and it's a huge waste of resources.

Out of those options, I use playstation more often than not. I've use the ps1 & 2 most recently to play through old persona games
