you still didn't answer my question. you defined the history of the word female. I'll ask again. In which context is the usage of the word female perceived as offensive? The term "female" relegates women to stereotypical roles in life.
You're talking about perception. Perceptions differ from person to person. I can only respond regarding my perception of the term. My perception is it's not offensive. That's called an opinion, and I base it on my experiences in using the word, and the feedback I've read from the females in this very thread.you still didn't answer my question. you defined the history of the word female. Indeed. I learnt to speak English in order to converse with simpletons.its also man and vrou in Afrikaans lol. in almost every language people are referred to as men and women... then theres English.
Men do too. Shock horror.Don’t women change diapers too?
baby... I asked in which context did *I* (me, myself) state the usage of the word female is offensive. how do you misunderstand a question twice babes come onYou're talking about perception. Strange? I thought that was how this whole thing started. With you stating gender roles.no. you specifically said men... then in the next sentence said female instead of women. thats not in a context of gender roles. you weren't discussing gender roles.

You're asking me to do the same?you do the same, how about debating about femalegate instead ?
fine @Finn2.0 I'll answer it for you. I said the usage of the word female (in my opinion) is only offensive when used in speech to describe a woman as it reduces them down to their sex. when used as an adjective or in the context of biology or medical terminology its completely fine.
saying female is offensive in a context where you'd refer to a male as a man or a guy. it's reductionist. you're putting emphasis on a woman's biological sex relative to the humanity of a man.
it makes it sound like women are some alien species.
you yourself said "I won't be lectured by a female"... you reduced me to by gender, its dehumanising and you're aware.
the word female is predominantly used in ways such a this, thats why most women prefer to be called women in a casual setting due to the misogynystic history behind the word female.
Uranus honey.Christ. Calling a woman “female” = they’re aliens. What planet are you living on “woman”?
