I was banned several times over a misunderstanding and for criticizing the rushed judgment to ban me before letting me explain where the miscommunication was. Then I was called unhinged for trying to get back in the room. Then banned once more. Please stop letting your moderators abuse their powers like this. A terrible first impression to give to new users.

Also, I tried to move past the earlier malice but Sophie or whoever is in charge of the room basically said she could do whatever she wanted, told me to leave and never come back right before my most recent ban.

Is this a ban for all of Gay Chat? Or are you blocked from a side-room within?
I'm assuming it was a side room. I was in the main room (I believe) but no one was chatting about anything except nudes and hooking up and sending nudes. I read the description of the room titled Sophies Sanctuary and thought I would find some mature, SFW, intellectual conversation there, but was kicked within the first minute. Once again, over a miscommunication.

I was told that it was a private room that was opened up to the public, but even so. Should people really be able to kick or ban so easily? Even cops give you a written warning first.

Side rooms are owned by members. They are free to remove anyone they don't want in them.

Staff might monitor side rooms for inappropriate activity and remove members that are breaking rules.

So nothing will be done about my complaints?

That's ridiculous. If I could register (which I can't), I'd make my own room. And I definitely wouldn't abuse the privileges that come with it.

It isn't really. People that make their own side rooms are free to manage them however they please.

Oh and registration takes very little time and very little effort. All you need is an email address. To make your own side room you'd also need VIP.

The reason I cannot register is because the email I used for the forum isn't allowed.

Also, I'm talking about how on a fundamental human level, there was no just cause for my removal. That, to me, is the ridiculous part.

It takes very little time to set up an outlook email account.

Unfortunately, I avoid using Microsoft products whenever possible due to ethical and privacy related reasons. Thanks anyway.

I use a privacy focused email provider based in Switzerland. That, and the aliases I can generate through its other services. If a working email isn't allowed simply because it isn't mainstream or owned by an ad company, I'll just stick with guest accounts (if I stick around after today), and avoid further miscommunications.

Thank you again for all of your feedback.

@nsmnc you’re having quite the day. Blocked from a side room in Gay Chat and issues in Boys Chat too.

I can’t add any more to what @emileh has said. If you’re not wanted in a user-created side room then I can’t overrule that.

If you don’t want to use an email provider that’s acceptable to Chat Avenue for you to register and make your own room, I can’t help with that either.

Maybe try the quiz room. Quizbot is shirtless but he’s not too offensive.
