    Big doubts but

In the kitchen all the cabinets have to be shut
The radio volume has to be between 10-25
My shoe laces have to be tight
My locker has to be cleaned out every bell every 50 mins
At lunch I have to eat the main meal then I can desert with my fries

When I'm taking notes for class, doing homework, or even just writing..
If the bullets aren't lined up, I rip up the paper and start over.
And if I don't like my handwriting, I get mad and throw the paper away and start a new one.

Everything has to be straight to. Lines, and such.

God, yes. If something is open, I HAVE to close it, or it's on my mind the rest of the day. No lie.

I don't have OCD but I have to shower twice a day every day. I have a set routine when showering and if for instance I don't have shampoo I won't have a shower til ive gone out and bought it because it messes up the routine and i lose my temper. I'll travel for miles to find a shop that sells the brand of shampoo i use if i have to but i will not go without at least two showers a day.

    What she said.

A couple of things irk me, and if it's in my power I will change it.

Like having an 'organized mess' in my room or just plain clean. Somethings have to be symmetrical with others if not it will bother me, but If I can't change it it's not going to drive me crazy or stop me from doing whatever I'm doing.

I have this thing where I HAVE to flush the toilet before I'll use it, even if I can see that the bowl is obviously clean.
And all CDs must be put away in cases, like, the right cases, I get all fidgety and my foot starts tappin' really badly if they're not.
    Dunno if that counts

i havent done it for years but when i was young,
if i wasnt part of a conversation i had to count the letters involved,
normally silently mouthing it to myself
,in groups of threes, and i got so annoyed if they didn't "round up",
    i have no idea why

for instance ....... "dont forget milk and suger"

don tfo rge tmi lka nds uga r << aaaaaaagh single letter left

no idea why it annoyed me if the letters didnt round up, no idea
why i did it, and no recollection of when i stoppped really

Ok, so I doubt anyone here suffers from really bad OCD, however scientists say that we all have OCD tendencies, and I'm pretty sure thats what this thread is about.

I've noticed a few about when I go to bed.
    • The matress has to be pushed all the way to the top of the bed so the pillows can't fall down the back of the bed.
    • The pillows, I have two, have to be completely square with one another, and square with the bed. They can not be hanging off the side of the bed.
    • My tv has to be on volume level '8' and I always put the sleep timer onto 80 minutes.
    • When going to sleep I normally start by trying to sleep on my right side, then I'll switch onto my front, then move back onto my right side, then I'll go to sleep.
    • I can never sleep on my left side, but thats mainly because my left shoulder hurts if I do that.
    • My hair has to be above me head when I'm lying down.
    • My shoulder and head can not be at the same level. My shoulder has to be on the matress, my head on the pillows.

Thats about it for my bedtime routine.

Edit: Just thought of another one, but its not related to bedtime.

If I'm eating something like m&ms or smarties then I have to eat them in a certain order, the colours of the rainbow (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet). If I have more than one of each colour in my handful I'll get rid off all of that colour, except one, in that order as well. Colours that aren't in the rainbow, like brown, I normally just add onto the end.

Shaking my head. So many of these aren't Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. People need to do their research before they make to claim to "suffer" it.

As for me I suffer from two versions of OCD after being diagnosed sometime in 2012.

    - Checking (i.e checking doors locked over and over, re-reading important documents over and over, obsessing over important information etc)
    - Intrusive thoughts (i.e illogical fears, the belief your thoughts can influence events if you 'think hard enough' and the need for things to be 'just right')

    For a brief summary;

    https://www.northpointrecovery.com/b...get-breakdown/
"Not sure if Turian heaven is the same as yours, but if this thing goes sideways and we both end up there... Meet me at the bar."
