Come over here and try a real BBQ, Toretto!

Can't believe this is your first of the Summer. We have been living off them here!

If it's being held here, I usually buy a Cumberland sausage (spicy and coiled!) and serve that with a snap-seared seafood concoction (mussels, prawns, octopus), corn and jacket potatoes (with mucho butter and done in tinfoil) and have a selection of steaks/chops different sizes - for you to cook yourself (I hate other people deciding how well done I want my steak!).

    A couple of salads too!

    Mmmmmmm....

I just may have talked myself into having some folk over tonight!

Beaut fine day here, harbour is as calm as...

I don't mind keeping it simple when I'm cooking for one person. I do get to have more fancy things when I go to my best mate's house! Your spread sounds lovely btw...

Ah if it had been just for me I'd have gone to way less trouble.

My fave meal for myself is:

1 ginormous Pork leg steak ... done rare enough to have my Mum screaming 'you'll get [name of weird disease]. Pork has to be served in concrete-like hardness!' Mind, that's the way my Mum served all meats unless me and/or my Dad could 'rescue' them from her in time!
1 Stuffed Jacket Potato - bought from deli
1 Green Pepper, stripped of its seeds and torn apart
Handful of steamed mushrooms dripping with icy cold butter
