Re Reading the Gunslinger

the whole series starting at book 1 I still need to get the suzzanna book

The Wastelands is by far the best book in the series (my opinion of course). I enjoyed the entire story in general but the last couple of books didn't really impress me, especially once King inserted himself as a character in the story. The ending was a huge letdown.
