I'd like to start off with something I say often, and something factual -
This is a Privately Owned, Public chatroom.
So I'll take one thing at a time, firstly, a sex chat excists - because the owner wants it too.
Secondly, the ads excist, because the owner of the "House" we ALL visit freely, has bills, bills to be paid, so that we ALL may continue to visit here free of charge.
Thirdly while it's true there is, and always will be an onslaught of reprehensible content/Soliciting of inappropriate, illegal and disturbing requests/comments/imagery to be battled, it's a harsh reality that stems from opening your doors to millions.
As Baby Universal stated, we do everything we can do with the tools provided us.
As for mods, I'll speak only on what I've witnessed, occasionally you will have a "Drive By Mod", that's what I call them, I find them unproductive and infuriating, however, their shield is short lived, the team I've worked with in general, has committed and reliable people, volunteering their time, patience and energy, they work hard, because we enjoy and appreciate the environment we have the opportunity to be a part of.
In ending - my true unfiltered attitude about your question is this-
Your not a prisoner of war here, your free to go. If your not happy with your visit, the environment or the battles to be expected in any social format this widely acceptable, you have that choice.
You could also apply for Mod, be the hero your looking for. Taste life on the other side so to speak.
This is just my truth of the topic, doesn't mean I'm right.
I will say I have little to no sympathy when it comes to basically:
You were invited to somebody's house as a guest, and you toss your feet up on the table and begin complaining about everything, with your mouthful metaphorically.
This is my opinion, this isn't completely directed soley at or towards Just Matt.
The biggest issue to me-the revolving door( IP rolling) in which fuels the ear daily.
However I for one am appreciative and grateful that the Owner still keeps it open, because at this point the only way to assure these problems don't excist, would be if this entire site did not excist.
