Two years ago I decided to delete all family from social media as well as anyone that I wasn’t super close with in an effort to be more physically present Vs relying on social media, but also not allowing anyone to watch my family grow up online. My kids told me happy birthday this year, and the people I mod with since I said I’d miss my shift. I’ve never had a birthday party before and my kids actually have been the ones who started baking me a cake a few years ago. It’s not a sad thing for me as it is for others, I guess not having a circle who cares you don’t realize you don’t have it.
