Depression

depression sucks doctors have had me on so many different meds nothing helps due to a severe head injury I had as a child and trauma I been through
If what you state is true and genuine then yes depression from physical injury can be very difficult to process and handle.

Best thing to do is to surround yourself with positive, upbeat people, and to find the strength in you to say a firm No to what negative feelings you may feel.

Stay safe. x

So sorry to see. I wish you well, but recovery, if any, can take a long time. And meds don't always help, I know from first hand experience as I have been on various and none give me the peace I seek.

I don't know if I suffered any traumatic head injuries as a child, but I have chronic anxiety and depression. I also try to keep myself busy. It helps but it is no cure, and it probably does not, or will not, work for everyone.

So sorry for you. I had depression too after I was diagnosed with diabetes. I had to take a lot of meds, especially this one https://www.canadapharmacy.com/products/victoza, visit different doctors and go to the hospital almost every day in the beginning. I wasn't prepared for such a life twist, but I managed to get through it. My family was really helpful and the doctors were kind to me. Now I'm feeling much better.
glad you feel better

its true are i wouldnt have posted it thanks

Medicine is largely ineffective for depression. Thats because drug companies (by questionable means) pushed the theory that serotonin levels needed to be altered. A recent article in a major medical journal documents all that. While "meds" may help some people, for the most part, remain ineffective.

Depression does suck. I try to Motivate motivate myself to exercise, get some sun, eat well, be careful about rec drugs/booze, and ask about CBD which may be a lot better than mainstream treatment.

For trauma, lots of things online to read, and a good therapist can help with that. All the best

I'm so sorry for you. I'm praying for you. I hope you get well soon. You're not alone. May God bless you. Sorry you had a severe head injury. I'm sorry for the bad things you been. Stay strong and safe. They have free help out in the real world too. They have counseling too. I agree with you on depression. I agree with you so many doctors give to much medicine and most of the time we have to suffer because sometimes the meds don't help for different situations we are in. I get it. Thanks for this post. Sorry for all your trauma. I'm free to talk whenever you need someone to talk to. You can always private message me. I pray that you are doing better today. God bless you and your family. Look online too for what you are looking for. I have looked stuff up online that has helped me. Sometimes we all just need to let it all out and talk about it. Try to have more better days. I thank God you're here today. Peace, love, and happiness from God to you always. I care for others on here and in real life. Take very good care. Please don't listen to negative people. I got your back. You're here for a reason. I pray that someday you're depression will go away. Good luck with everything in real life. Just take one day at a time. Don't rush! Tell yourself some positive things about yourself. You're beautiful.

All the best,
Princessa

Of course its true no need to lie

I can't see how anybody from a 1st world country could be depressed. You should be grateful you're even here. People are getting blown up, and you use technology from poor, starving kids in a factory who put all their blood, sweat, and tears into your devices and clothes, etc. But still, you have the nerve to even utter the words you're depressed.

You're doing the same thing and sorry if you think people's personal problems out weigh others. People die every day, no ones thinking about children being bombed when they're ready to jump off a bridge. You appear to have more problems than the OP, just like the Scumlord who found your post amusing.

I'd rather deal with a depressed person than some misanthropic man-child who tries to make their problems other people's problems. This World has too many people like you. Hopefully you're not a gun owner.

Don't speak on things you are uneducated on, especially when it involves mental health. Yoh cherry picked findings from a "psychologist" who is anti medication and isn't respected in the psychology World. His conclusion was that anti depression meds do help but to a certain degree. You don't read anything, you just skim through things and pick things to try and win arguments because you're a pseudo intellectual (see you finding out last month Armenia exists and when you returned claiming they're Asian) and want to be looked up to/idolized.

Unless you've experienced being on meds, especially anti depressants, or are a trained specialist, Zippy-It. I speak from experience, they help but you have to be actively working to get that boost. They're not magic pills. You don't take steroids and sit around waiting for muscles to grow.

Just another reason you shouldn't be in charge of protecting minors in Gen chat. What you said could make someone depressed, become suicidal, then you tell them to do CBD instead? CBD does nothing but make people calm without the uppers from THC. It's often used in weed so people don't get anxiety and can actually make depression worse as does THC.

I've experienced this issue before, and I've heard a lot of people talking about CBD, something I wasn't familiar with previously. So, I consulted with doctor to learn more about it. It turns out, CBD not only helps people manage stress, but it's also beneficial for various other purpose.
For my part, I've tried using CBD flowers, and I can confidently say that it has greatly helped me.

Thank you.
