I don't have a pet, but I know when I get one it'll be a wolf. I luv wolf dogs. They may appear viscous and mean, but they're so playful! Some maybe might be grumpy though so don't just pet one (heads up).I luv wolves being a furry one, but I show tons of dedication. I donate to repopulating wolves, and I hope to get one of my own one day. Ill name it Shelifoo! I can't wait to get one!

They are magnificent to observe..we had one.
A male ..mixed with German shepherd ..60/40..even though they recommend to not mix with shepherds because being too high strung ..he truly did NOT act like a dog!! Didn't know who was observing who..he watched you watching him..very gentle yet intimidating.

You're right. In fact, they aren't even endangered. However, there is a reason why we slaughtered the grey wolf population in North America.
