Hello All,

This is my first post, but I wanted to ask if you think cross-dressing is something to be ashamed of? I am a 40 year old male, in a relationship and when I am alone, I love to cross-dress. I love to wear ladies satin underwear and clothes, I love the feel of satin on me, when I put my hands over me in satin and I love to try and make myself look really pretty and girly. I don't want to be a female, I am happy as a male and happy in my relationship with my fiancee, but I do love to wear ladies satin clothes, really pretty ones and I love satin bows also. I have also worn make up before and played with toys also, but always alone. I do have my ultimate fantasy where I am dressed completely as Cinderella (white satin underwear, stockings, glittery heels, big blue satin dress with bow, black choker, blonde wig, full make up) and for a woman to be with me. Just wondering if this is anything anyone else thinks of or am I alone :dontknow:
 
I'm sorry to see that no one has answered you. I think cross-dressing is nothing to be ashamed of, we all expresses our sexual desires in different ways and to say one is wrong would be stupid. As long as you are enjoying yourself and not harming someone while you are doing it then go for it.
 
Nothing wrong with it. I crossdress everyday. I cant live without it. I feel more comfortable and relaxed while I'm dressed. I go all the way makeup, hair, clothes,heels, everything. I love being femme

Your not alone but I personally hate the habit. I'm very masculine except when I dress and then it feels like I'm female sexually craving **** but without attraction to males. It's awkward and uncomfortable but it's how it's how I've got off since puberty....

You should never let other people's opinion to deny you happiness. You should never be ashamed of who you are. Saying that on a personal opinion to be honest I just think it looks silly. I think a man can be feminine without vamping it up. But to each their own.

Sometimes in the summer on hot days I wear a short dress while mowing my lawn. Might be frowned on but, I'm 50 and don't give 2 shits about society and their pretentious views. It's hot and I just want to be comfortable.

Not at all. But not everyone agrees with this. Best to have thick skin, and be confident with yourself. If you're confident, secure and happy with yourself, you won't be asking this kind of question, nor pondering on it. You'll probably be telling others that it's not shameful at all. Get to that level, you're not hurting anyone, flaunt it.

Anyways, no. We as humans are conditioned to follow the social norm which tells us how to dress. We've all been guilty of judging in our minds when we see someone who is dressing out of the norm like for instance, someone Gothic who is dressed up like a raver, vampire or another instance, a woman wearing revealing clothing. We can't help it as it's programmed in out minds.


Having said that, you can condition yourself like I and many in this thread have to mature and be passive, realizing not everyone has the same taste as you and are made to feel happy and comfortable in different ways. I go by the rule of "if what they're doing doesn't harm you or others, let them be happy."

I couldn't write any fanfiction of those two either. That fanfiction would degrade into complete smut that would be far better than the Fifty Shades series yet not fit for anyone to read.
