Is there somewhere that shows what gives you XP. I'd be interested in knowing what earns it. And how you gain levels specifically, like is it just number of characters you type?

I think it's a setting that can be changed by room, but from all the ones I've seen, you earn 1 XP for each post you make in the main room or in PMs. You also gain a certain amount of XP when you spend gold on gifts (I think it's proportional to the gold cost of the gift).

Basically, be active and chat, and send gifts.
