I love chat ave I’m trying to be a mod just wish half the mods weren’t disrespectful mrgryo he is so nice and forever man they are some of the nicest mods I ever talked with all the others idk not in my cup of tea just dislike em they two are my fav they know how to mod good job to y’all two muah

disrespectful in what way. you say you dislike the others but do you actually know the others as you call them as i do not know you from Adam, and slagging of mods is a really neat way to becoming one..... not

I like how u spot out one bad thing I said. sorry if u took it the wrong way and there is disrespectful ones, not saying you are one everyone got there own flaws and stuff I was just venting to myself basically and like I said others are nice and good job to them I hope they become more then a mod one day and no I don’t know them it’s just me venting from experience lol but have a good day
 
In my experience, if a moderator is "disrespectful," it's because they are combating pushback from those who are bent they were held to account for breaking some sort of rule. Moderators I have gotten to know are quick to point out how many reports they reckon with every hour, or how many predators they have to kick, or how many people outright berate or ridicule them for simply trying to cultivate a safe and hospitable atmosphere for all ********.

If you aspire to be a moderator, you should know it's a highly unpopular position--one to which people freely volunteer their time and mental and emotional stores--and it's often distressing and thankless. One could even say this thread you've created, wherein you heap more ridicule onto moderators as a bloc, further evidences as much.

I second @vonnie. It's strange behavior, indeed, to come onto the forums to slag off the group of people you claim you want to join. I'd encourage you to do better.

How do we disrespect them? I'm intrigued, being a fellow adult chat mod. I've nothing but respect for my colleagues from all rooms.
I have made Kim aware that you contacted me re being mod this evening and I also included the reason I kicked you too.

Well from experience I can tell you that the vast majority of us are actually friends. Lol. We chat with each other here, on our private forums and we even make accounts in other rooms just to chat with each other. Like I have accounts in General, Girls, and Gay (everyone loves the staff of Gay chat) chat rooms and for the most part all I do is chat with other staff members. My point is that making an introduction and announcing your intention to become a moderator and then putting down staff members probably wasn't the best thing to do.

Forgive me I don't know if anyone has pointed this out already because I haven't read the whole thing but here goes; a big part of modding is working closely with the room admin and your fellow mods even the ones you may not like so if your seriously considering applying to mod I suggest you set aside your differences and get to know the mods on a basic level before judging them. That's just my opinion, good luck!
