If you’re a fan of music, you’ve found the right room! Music Chat is a room filled with great music, conversations, and awesome chattėrs!
Below, you’ll find some tips and rules that will help make your experience in Music Chat an enjoyable and safe one.

Helpful Tip:
Do not give out any personal, identifiable information to users on this chat. Some of that information includes, but is not limited to, names, email addresses, phone numbers, and social media. We cannot control the information that is consensually shared in private messages. Please remember - you never really know who you’re chatting with, so sharing those things could be very dangerous.
Room Rules:
• Music Chat is a 13+ room. Anyone below the age of 13 years old, or anyone asking for under 13 years old, will be permanently removed from the room.
• This is an English based website. We ask that you use only English in the main chat room. You can use other languages in PMs, if you choose.
• No VPN/Proxy. Use of either in this room is not permitted. Those that have purchased VIP will be allowed to use VPNs.
• Be respectful. Please keep your conversations civil and don't resort to insults. Avoid engaging in hate speech or any form of discriminatory/derogatory slurs. This includes, but is not limited to: ageism, misogyny, sanism, ableism, racist/homophobic/transphobic comments, and body shaming. If you find you’ve encountered an unpleasant chatter, there’s a helpful “Ignore” feature that you may use at your discretion in order to avoid receiving PMs or seeing anymore posts made by them.
• Do not disrupt the chat room. This includes, but is not limited to: flooding, scrolling, spamming, trolling, bullying, excessive usage of all capitals, excessive usage of vulgarities, harassment of others, and arguing with staff members.
• Do not exploit or impersonate a minor. Anyone found doing either will be removed from the room and reported to the authorities.
• No advertising. This includes, but is not limited to: advertising sexual services, products, companies, other chat sites, and publicly posting or PM spamming your social media IDs/phone number/WhatsApp, etc.
• Do not dox. This is defined as posting private information about an individual without their permission. Examples include, but are not limited to: sharing another persons real name, phone number, email address, social media, home address, pictures, or any other private information.
• Do not mini-mod. This means acting like a Mod (telling users what to do), or telling Staff how to moderate, when you are not. If you see rule-violating behavior, please use the report feature so that the room staff is made aware of it, and can handle any/all issues, as needed.
• No Drug Talk/Sex Talk. Keep things PG-13, always.
• No Nudity. The things that should be covered up, should remain covered up. If a Moderator asks you to remove/refrain from using certain profile pictures, please do as they’ve requested.
• GIFs/Memes/Pics: No nudity, drugs, sex, crude, weapons, strobing/flashing, or any GIF that violates an existing rule. No GIF’s directly (or indirectly) attacking others. No memes/pictures using others photos, whether found on the internet or not.
• Politics/Religion: In order to avoid any disruption of the main room, please discuss them respectfully in PMs, if you must.
• Screenshots: Posting chat-related, funny screenshots are allowed. Screenshots posted with the intention of starting an argument, bullying, trolling, breaking rules, or manipulating others are not allowed.
• Usernames/Font Colors: Do not change usernames while muted and please keep all usernames appropriate for the room. If you need to change your username, you may do so at the end of your mute. Also, please ensure your font color is easily readable for Staff. If you are asked to change it, please do so.
• Profile Moods/Bios/Pics: These are not to contain verbiage or images to antagonize/humiliate/troll other users, and all are meant to be kept appropriate for the room. Do not use children’s pictures who are under 13 years of age in your profile. This is for their safety and yours. It will be removed.
• Multiple Accounts: Double (Triple, Quadruple, etc.) browsing is not allowed. Do not use additional accounts to evade actions, someone’s use of the ignore feature, or to break any rules.
• Banned Words/Topics: The following words, and any spelling/slang variation of, are not allowed: C*nt, N*gger, F*ggot, R*tard, P*do. Also, do not reference any of these within a username or conversation in this room: rape, incest, suicide, or self harm.
*If you’re feeling suicidal, please reach out to a licensed professional.
Habitual and/or Repetitive offenders will not be warned.
Note: Moderator abuse/name calling/arguing/harassing will not be tolerated. If you see rule-violating behavior, please use the report feature on-site so that the room staff is made aware of it, and can handle any/all issues, as needed.
If a Moderator thinks any discussion/topic has gotten out of hand, or needs to change, please follow their request.
