Question: How (long) a ban can last? Asking for a friend. FREE LUKA
Do you have a specific ban query @Trenton Mihm ?
As a generalisation for forums bans:
If you can say that an accidental spam ban occurred because you posted three things, the ban lasts up to 24 hours before it's reversed after sending a PM to a UM in a chat room
A few hours if a UM places a ban then has a sudden change of heart
A 7 day ban can be reduced to a 3 day ban for reasons unknown
A 3-month ban can be reduced by a few days as a show of mercy to the banned
Room bans can be temporary or permanent depending on the offence

Hi Trenton, in Chat rooms all bans are permanent unless removed/adjusted by the room admins, Site admin ofc can adjust any ban however he wants.
On forums, they range from a few hours to permanent, ( TheChatmaster bans are (usually permanent)
