I used to. In my early teenage years.

Used to have a white rat named Peachy. I loved it to death.

If you're single and looking for a girlfriend tho, I'd recommend not getting one. Most girls go "eek!" at the sight of them. 🙄 pfft. Go for a kitty or something. =P
 
Rats are adorable but go for a guinea pig instead they squeal and you can play around with their hair....i want one....:/
 
My friend has a rat. She's obsessed with it. I almost got one because her's was so adorable. SAYAAAA you're wronggg lol guinea pigs are scary. Rats are cute. Get a medium sized grey one. If you can get over the weirdly gross tail then it's a cute animal. And I hear they're pretty smart too 😱
 
I've never had pet rats nor do I think they are cute. However one of my friends has a pet rat and they are quite intelligent and affectionate. She takes him for walks.
 
Rats just don't seem like the ideal pet to me.
Ok, sure, it's probably just that being garbage
eaters and spreading the plague across Europe
has given them a bad rep which they probably
don't really live up to, but still, I'm gonna
stick with my dog
