Should I get an Xbox One or a Playstation 4?

I'm having a hard time deciding. I haven't had a console for a couple of years now because my old Xbox 360 broke. Previous to that I had a PS2 (it was good at the time!), currently I just have a PC.
From what I know, there are more exclusive games for Playstation. However I'm way more familiar with Xbox, plus you can play all the old games on it, and you can cross-play with PC games. I also would like to use Xbox Live.
Like I said, I'm kind of rusty when it comes to these things so I'm just looking for a bit of input.

Well, we have all of the mentioned.
After 6 months the xbox gave out. It is being serviced now . Kind of a inconvenience but it is under warranty and even the shipping was free .... so not a huge deal. The son has one and says it is at least 4 years I think he said now?

The ps4 pro's if you are a hard core player (playing it all the time, everyday), the console seams to last a year. This has been my mr's experience with his anyhoo and he cleans that thing, cares for it all the time ..... he is on his second ps4 pro now. Meanwhile my ps4 pro is still doing fine, I dont play mine as much as he uses his.

My gaming computer was bought for gaming computers are the best of the best and I like that. However like you said some games are not for the pc, or one of the other console. I like that the xbox controller is already configured for the pc and I have 5 monitors set up on the gaming pc.

You are used to the xbox, so is that what you settled on ??
