Teen Chat Suggestion: Delay for new accounts to post in main

Hey all,

A suggestion that I think would really help Teen Chat is if a 24 hour wait for new accounts to message in main was put in place. I'm on frequently and a lot of the regular weirdos can get banned, and just immediately make a new account and continue commenting in main if no mods are on. I've seen it happen. And I get it, there are times when all the mods are busy, but that's when the creeps really post bad stuff. If they had to wait to post in main I think it would help reduce the amount of people violating the rules so easily?

Just today this guy messaged me


got banned

and then sent me this an hour later


And got banned again, there is nothing to deter these guys from just making a new account. And i realize this is DM and not main but im just trying to show how easy it is for them.

I was just thinking maybe something longer to deter the main spammers, because then they could just sign up, get banned and then come back 2 hours later. Jordan is on with multiple accounts every day as are the spammers with random letter usernames.

but the staff know what's best I think 🫡

If someone signs up and genuinely wants to contribute, they wouldn't mind waiting.
