Unblock tilde symbol

I saw that the "~" symbol was banned from Adult chat to be used by all users. Right now it is said that it is only limited to VIPs, but I feel like that all users should have access to it. Any reason as to why? And could it be unblocked, as I heard that such is possible as listed on the warning I got when I tried to use it

In an attempt to combat the exchange of illegal content on this platform, many characters and symbols used by illegal content traders have been blocked for limited use. This unfortunately does cause issues for regular chätters who want to use those symbols innocently, but it also means that someone attempting to spam the sale of illegal content will encounter the same error. I hear where you're coming from though and will tag the Adult Chat staff, in case they are able to assist more directly.
