Uniform Rules For All...?

There's a guy in the general chat room named Wyatt. He comes in and does trivia games, but even though he is doing it in the main open room, he picks and chooses who is allowed to play his games. He is also allowed to do it all in caps, but when literally anyone else in the room uses caps, they are warned to lower their caps. If they continue to use caps, they are booted, but not Wyatt. He is allowed to post 20+ questions, then give the answers and who got the answers right, all in caps, all without being told to lower his caps. Either everybody should be able to use caps whenever they want, or Wyatt should be told to lower his, and to keep them lowered.

Excessive use of "all caps" isn't allowed in the general chatroom. That user- does a trivia session on main, for maybe 30 minutes or so, once a week or such. He wants to use caps so ******** can see his questions. It was a room administrative decision, to make a rare exception in his case, but we take no role on who plays or not and all the rest. The ******** like his game, those who don't- can easily use ignore.

I'll leave this open for discussion.

His games runs for more like an hour, and he uses a bold blue font that is extremely visible, even without caps. Wyatt should be told to lower the caps, or for the time he's there, EVERYONE should be allowed to use them.

So...let's see if I have this straight. All rules in General Chat are hard and fast, and set in granite. That is, of course, if the chat room administrator or the moderators are buddies with someone and they choose to allow that one person...but absolutely nobody else, to break the rules as they see fit. This guy is allowed caps lock in chat, but everyone else gets ONE warning for doing the exact same thing. If the warned person continues, they are booted, even though this guy is doing caps lock continuously during his time in the room. I see the all too obvious bias...

"Any gray area about any of the room rules is at the discretion of the moderators and Room Administrator." .

"That user- does a trivia session on main, for maybe 30 minutes or so, once a week or such."
This was part of the answer provided for the complaint about Wyatt being the only one allowed to use all caps. He has been doing trivia for the past 2 or 3 nights, for 45-60 minutes, and tonight he repeatedly used all caps to use abusive language against SEVERAL different people. He's been acting like no rules apply to him.

He's actually been doing his Trivia for about 5 years. I asked him a while ago to reduce it for a couple times a week (he used to do it 5 days or something...)

Why don't you just use the ignore feature when he is there? As to abusive language, that should be flagged to the room staff see. We have mods who sometimes join his game, so I doubt he gets too out of line then.
