User harassment

The guest user “Jeremy” keeps harassing other users. He makes up lies and harasses the other users the whole time they are online or until the users leave because they don’t want to deal with the harassment any longer. Since we are light on mods he only does it when a mod is not on. There are some other users who have voiced their concerns about the user “Jeremy”

As it’s a guest sadly all you can really do is keep using the ignore button and I know that’s a pain but most guests rule mutes kicks bans and the site in general because of how easy it can be to evade mutes kicks bans etc

There are plenty of users on here that abuse the chat rooms I don't see why they don't permanently ban their IP address and account

You can't permanently ip ban someone, its too easy to bypass nowadays. Don't people understand.

As I have said before the ignore button does not stop the troll from reading ur posts and a troll cares not one bit that you are cannot see his posts, he does it for the room to read, a better way wud be if you ignored someone they cud not read your posts as well as you cannot theirs
Also not seeing you in the user list wud also be a good idea

I've been on a site where I have been permanently banned for speaking my mind and I couldn't make a new account because somehow even my VPN still blocks me from the site. It is possible to permanently ban a user why it has not happened yet allows me to believe the owner doesn't want to take appropriate action against people who abuse chat rooms for their own amusement.

Some rooms have a VPN blocker, but some trolls have figured out how to roll their IP without the use of VPN. Depending on the severity of the situation the only people who could put an actual stop to it are the ISP providers and the authorities.
