This is a minor thing, but when you try and connect using a VPN it's suggested that you're 'up to no good' - which may be true for some people, but the idea that a VPN automatically means that is incredibly ignorant. In 2025 arguably most people should be using VPNs most of the time, and in some cases it's now even necessary to get things to work properly (e.g. imgur pulling out of the UK, which could make ****** and other major sites less useable too). Also, even if there really wasn't any reason to use a VPN on your site, not all VPNs support split tunnelling (especially on Mac) so if you turn it off here you potentially have to turn if off everywhere else while chatting too.
Given the illegal stuff some people post this is probably one of very few sites that can actually make a moral and rational argument for banning VPN use, so I'm not suggesting or expecting that you change that, I just take issue with the wording when trying to use one. I don't really expect that to change either since you probably have more important things to do, but I just wanted to vent, and maybe get an acknowledgement from someone that you understand there are plenty of legitimate reasons to have a VPN on (even most/all of the time).
