I have had to give up red meat as my iron levels are too high and now im reduced to chicken, fresh veggies and fresh fruit (which I love) would like some tired and tested recipe that taste yum!

Chicken adobo. Not being biased or anything, but many Filipino cuisines can be adjusted for different meats.

You could also try pork as it has 30% less iron than beef, or also try fish. Ask your doctor or nutritionist about these.

quick easy Italian chicken.

chicken pieces. ( I use skinless breasts a lot. but have used legs and thighs)
1/2 bottle Italian salad dressing

needed materials
1 fork
1 knife
paper towel or kitchen towel
1 gallon ziploc bag
casserole dish
cooking spray
oven

instructions: *** do your own conversions***
wash chicken (or don't, I do, but whatever you want)
pat dry chicken with towel or paper towels
take your knife and prepare chicken, cutting fat
take your fork and poke holes. in several places on chicken ( I usually stab right through because I'm lazy)
open ziploc put chicken in.
dump half a bottle of Italian salad dressing over chicken. (8-8.5 oz)
zip bag
put in fridge to marinate at least 1 hour. *** 2 hrs is better but I usually marinate over night***

when your ready to cook:
preheat oven to 350F
take chicken out fridge
get your casserole dish out spray with cooking spray
remove chicken from ziploc. throwing left over dressing away
lay your chicken out in dish
cook chicken for 45mins - 1 hour in oven turning once (longer time required for bone in chicken types)

I serve with dinner roll ( hot or cold) and salad usually.
to be browner I usually turn on broiler for 5 mins.
condiments are usually ketchup bbq sauce or ranch. some eat it without additional sauces.
if you like a bit of kick try zesty flavor dressing. I've not found 1 Italian dressing that is bad. house , restaurant, or zesty all taste good.
very easy to prepare and walk away type of dinner.
I don't use the packets ( dry and make yourself) I use the bottles, I'm sure you could use the packets.
