Mentally/emotionally I could identify myself as a carrot. It's a free country and you can call yourself whatever you want, but does that mean we should always go along? And if you answer yes, how far would you take it? Should boys for example be allowed to compete in womens sports because they put on a wig and some makeup? How should we sort out who should use which bathroom?

I asked how many genders there are, not how many "gender identities" there are. There are literally unlimited ways to "identify" yourself, only a few of those identities are correct though.

The trans and sport arguments are a completely separate issue to what you want discussed here, and an issue on which I have absolutely zero opinion on.
