do you think that womens boxing should be banned? i do it gross too many boxers male/female end up with brain injuries but womens boxing should be banned it aint entertaining

No. I think if people understand the risks and make educated decisions and are not hurting anyone else, then laws and government should just leave it alone.

I can't understand why someone would want to put gloves on and proceed to beat the sh!t out of someone else and I can't understand what exactly is entertaining about it, but each to their own.

I think people should stop trying to legislate something that offends them or is against their beliefs, because it is easy enough to just look away.

I don't even get the fascination of grown men chasing a pig skin all over the lawn, hugging and touching each other bums....hang on....
 
I agree. Too many, like you say, end up with serious problems long after they've left the sport. Look at Ali, he was the greatest, but as he got older, he could barely function on his own because of being hit in the head too many times. As long as there is money to be made and people are getting rich off of others doing the hard work, it won't end anytime soon.

No. They are adults. They are free to make choices. If you're opposed to the sport you do not have to watch it or support it. I am opposed to trans men to women competing in women's sports but that's an entirely different subject.
 
I agree that adults are free to make their own choices and I agree that trans should not compete in either sport intended for specific genders but the long term damage is something no one wants to talk about because it's all about the money, the here and now. So sad.

It perplexes me that you do not see people complaining about female to male trans participating in men's sports.

The women I help, well, let’s just say they certainly transform to a nice manly woman.
 
Women have every right to bludgeon each other into brain damage just as men do. I say, more power to them because it proves not every female can't dismantle a guy just because they're a female. mma women are more fun to watch though because of the conditioning they put their bodies through before a fight, it's certainly something you have to nod your head at and respect.

Even just for self defense. All it takes is putting someone on their ass in self defense for the herd to back down and know you're not the one to mess with.
 
It like everything else shouldn't be banned as we are all free to do whatever we want with our own lives. But it does blow my mind why females want to be equal to men by lowering themselves to behaving like the violent filthy animals that men are.
 
Sounds like the OP is saying only women's boxing should be banned because its gross and not entertaining. 😕

It sounds like a healthier alternative than spending most of your waking hours at a job you don't even like, in a toxic environment surrounded by toxic people, stuffing your face with toxic food. All the while your dreams remain unfulfilled and your potential unexplored.

The whole brain damage thing is more likely to appear when one continues well past their prime years.
 
The only thing disagreeable about professional boxing and mixed martial arts is that there is no "safety net" in terms of retirement. There is no union in combat sports. No pension plan. And the vast majority of competitors end up forgotten never once being offered jobs as referees, timekeepers, judges, etc.
