So what to do...

when you report someone for either "inappropriate content" or for having a pic of their stuff as their pfp, and then PM the Mod on duty about the same thing, and nothing gets done? I know it's hard to keep up with stuff like that, but what is the next step after 30 mins go by and the person is still there with the same pfp? And obv they were blocked.

it could be, that they saw the flag, but what you consider inappropriate they don't- as that varies from room to room. Could also be that they did something like a mute or kick and 30 minutes later it was expired? You could send a second Pm politely- and ask the mod- I bet most would be ok with that. If you flagged an account, it could be accidently lost while sorting( thats happened to me before)

Ultimately, you could ask the room admin as Enchantress was alluding too....
 
There are times, like H.R. PufnStuf said, something might have been lost. What you may not realize is that an admin or mod may have so very many accounts on their report that something might have been missed or there may have been some other glitch issue. Admins and mods are here as volunteers and are only human so they can't see everything.

H.R. is correct, pm the mod or admin and let them know. Make sure you're taking screen shots to support your proof so you can say, 'hey, look at this...'. If you don't know how to do that, there's a tutorial in the forum or just look up how to do that.

Something always gets done lovey. I know in Chat Gay I make the Room Admin work overtime don’t you worry bout that, wee fella gets his fair sure of norty reports.

Now, now, don’t get too passionate, wee chats and norty pics are all they are, norty.

Thank you all for answering...I'll reply here instead of to everyone individually...it was in teen room, some guy PMd me and had his you-know-what as his pfp...reported it, and also pm'd the mod saying "hey, this pfp is inappropriate" (or something along those lines). I get that they're busy and prob have lots of reports/PMs coming in, but this was something pretty obvious. They were never muted or kicked bc I kept checking in the list. And again, i get that mods are volunteers...but they signed up for the role, would have liked to have seen something done for something that was right there for everyone to see, esp. after i pointed it out. Either way, it's not an issue right now, but still was wondering what the next step would be in those cases. And I agree with Ofir, that's all they are is "norty" but still...ugh...

Could I ask what the ******** name was if you still know, and I can check now for you. With the chat being down for hours I cleared the reports and even before the chat went down mods couldn’t action anything due to errors, and aswell accidentally deleting a report, we all do it and the site is having many errors, hopefully the town time tonight will help fix and address some of these errors. As suggested always feel free to PM us, we don’t bite we are a lovely bunch willing to help

Getting back to the whole 'screen shot' thing. Depending on the screen shot, if it involves nudity, you might want to consider copy/paste vs. a screen shot. Screen shots can go straight to the cloud and if the screen shot involves nudity, especially of someone underage, you could be reported to the authorities by your service provider.

As a word of caution, if you copy and paste underage nudity, that would put you in violation of the site rules and would subject you to kick / ban yourself, and also would likely cause the staff member to report your account to authorities.

The best way to handle something of that nature is to use the REPORT feature and let the staff handle the issue.
