How do you change your name?!

i've had this name for like a year now and no one's said anything. and now i get kicked because i need to "change my name"!? well i've actually looked in to this a while back and couldn't figure it out. soo... can someone please help, so that i can appease yet another grumpy gus.

if your a guest in the room on a guest account just log off and change your name. if your a registered user and vip you would need to ask the room admin (users with stars) on forums changing your name is harder and involves chatmaster.

VIP users can in fact change names, it's actually a feature of the status. (at least in Gen it is) Registered users would need to get Admin help- which presumably would be rare since supporting the site through a VIP purchase does the same thing.
