Who is responsible for changing names?

Hi, people!
Who is actually responsible for changing usernames?
I've been trying to change my username from GBF to Seraphim, for 4 days, but each person I ask in private informs me of a different person in charge.
The last admin I talked to told me that whoever changes usernames on the Forum is ChatMaster. Are you sure it's him?
Please let me know the right person who changes the name of users on the site, so that I can be sure of the right person to whom I should request the service. Thank you and have a nice day.

Okay, are you sure he's responsible? It's been 4 days since I asked this to, I've already asked him this 2 times. I think two times and six days is enough time and enough request. Right? Or am I ordering the service from the wrong person? 🤷‍♀️

To be frank, you’re very unlikely to get a response from Chatmaster, and he’s very unlikely to change your username.

In most cases, you are encouraged to create a new forums account with the desired name, and completely abandon the account bearing the undesired username (re: change the password to something you can’t and won’t remember, and do not log in again).

Many others have needed to do the same, including moderation staff, so before you throw a stink, you’re not being treated unfairly.

I'm not saying I'm being wronged here or suffering some retaliation, I prefer to believe the best of people.
He's certainly a very busy guy, and he wouldn't disrespect me that way. Considering I never disrespected him.
 
Chatmaster may or may not respond back to you on this. idk, but my guess is to wait it out.

Good idea, the user could have the option to change the name in the Forum, just like who has a VIP account in the chat rooms. Well thought! 👍
