To the OP, I looked up your account. You apparently said “Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you.”

Give me one good reason why I should let you back into the room and harass people in that manner??? There is no violence like this permitted in chat. If you are having a issue with someone, place them on ignore and report the comment. I know how hard that is to do, but they (whom ever the hell it was[ I got no report to act on] is still in the room and you are peeking in thru the window) There have been other issues with you in the past, one was a kick for ( don't harass others ) also 2 mutes by the system for (flooding) and that's hard to pull off, and something about fake accounts. Did someone put you on ignore and you came back over and over with guest account to get even????? Awaiting your responce.....

I guess the frustration of reporting someone for saying offensive things and seeing them not getting kicked got the better of me. I apologize, and I will become more vigilant in reporting abusive language from now on.

I'm disappointed in your decision. I wasn't going to bring up the issue of selective kicking, because I believe that two wrongs don't make a right, and I wanted my apology to stand on its own. However, I would like to bring it to your attention that there are users that I have reported on numerous occasions who never got kicked or banned and were more than deserving of that fate. The only logical conclusion I can draw is that there are some favored users who feel emboldened by their relationships with the moderators to engage in hate speech. Even if my account does not get reinstated, I hope that this gets looked into so that Chat Avenue doesn't become an exclusive club that selectively applies rules that make people feel weak and marginalized if they're not part of the in group.
