I like threads about traveling and I don't know how I missed this one. Unfortunately, I haven't been to many countries, but I visited Greece, Egypt, Georgia, and Turkey. My current dream destination is Japan.
Have you ever been to Japan? If yes, did you enjoy the trip?

No, I've never been to Japan. However, I really want to go there. I even monitor the prices for the flight from time to time. About a month ago saw affordable prices at trivago. I even checked the reviews about the company at https://trivago.pissedconsumer.com/review.html, but something still holds me.

Hi WindOC,

I hope you are doing well and your family. I have never been to Japan. That's cool that you have been to Greece, Egypt, Georgia, and Turkey. Very nice! I love to travel when I can and have that extra spending ๐Ÿ’ฐ money to travel. It seems like it's so expensive these days. At least you got to visit some countries. I bet you liked Greece, Egypt, Georgia, and Turkey. I bet you enjoy your trip. I heard they are such beautiful counties too. I hope someday I win the lottery to travel more. I need to get a new passport. Mine expired! Have yourself a blessed day and rest of the week. Enjoy the rest of the month in September. Still feels like summer here in September. Lol! The weather here where I am at is super hot. 100s still. I hope it doesn't get to cold in the winter this year. Take care! Happy travels and safe travels whenever you travel again. God bless! Be well! Until next time. ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿค ๐Ÿ†’ God loves you and your family so very much. Bye for now.

i only ever has lived in texas, which is where i was born, but through out my short life ive done a lot of travelling.

being half japanese, & my mom being the first generation in our family to come to America when she met my dad. i has travelled to japan on many occasions since i was one years old, i have a lot of family there whos lived in japan for generations. so i would go primarily to visit them, & japan is hands down my favorite place to go. japan is a beautiful country, rich with history & culture. the food is outstanding, & unlike anything you'll find at a japanese restruant in america. the people are kind, & not to mention incredibly polite, & the girls are so damn cute. despite my ancestry, & how much i luv going there i would never live in japan. theres a reason why suicide is so common among japanese society, & thats because the living conditions believe it or not are abysmal. not third woeld abysmal, but due to the social aspects of their society. like italy, ive skinny dipped in the sea of japan & the east china sea.

when i was 18, i travelled to europe with an ex. together we went to italy, france, germany, czechia & spain.

paris naturally was my favorite part of france, & other than going into the country for excerisons we primarily stayed in paris.

italy on the otherhand we went all over... went to the fashion capital of italy, milan, naturally. we went to rome, florance & bc my ex, shes sicilian, we went to sicily as well. i could go on about all the things i luv about italy, but my favorite was skinny dipping in the mediterranean off the coast of sicily. italy is hands down my favorite place in europe.

my second was czechia, prague was incredible, sooooo bougie there i luv it. its amazing to me how far along a place with such a dark history went, first nazis then communism. beautiful country, beautiful city.

spain too waa gorgeous, food incredible comparible to only italy. french cooking was fancy, but italian was the freshest folllowed by spain. we went there right from france since the two border each other. we went to wine country in catalina, went to seville near gibralter the closest ive been to africa, & the atlantic coast near santiago de compostela which borders portugal. their end of the atlantic is beautiful, like italy i would go to spain any again! only thing that made me like czechia more was prague.

germany was probablys my least favorite, wonderful ppl & beautiful country. berlin & munich was the two places we visited, being part german, i wanted to see the land my dad's ancestors orginated. didnt meet any family, but drank lots of beer in munich & toured all through out berlin. my highlight from that trip was definitelys the beer. all in all, i soaked the culture in & it made me happy being also of german descent but nothing that quite blew my mind. france probablys would has been my last favorite if it wasnt for hpw romantic it is there.

the path i followed was italy -> czechia -> germany -> france -> spain

ive taken a cruise to bermuda, grand cayman islands, & dominican republic. plus a couple other places in the carbbiean, which wss another sea i has skinny dipped in. ive also taken road trips to mexico, nevada, louisiana, & arizona. ive as well been to florida, new york, new jersey, california, & colorado.

a lil' personal goal of mine is to swim in all the exotic seas & oceans of the world.

Hi babydolla,

I hope you're doing well and your family. Thank you very much for sharing this. That's cool you were born and still live in Texas. It's one of the best states in the USA I think in my opinion. I was born in Maryland. Of course my birth state of Maryland is my favorite. Moved to Texas when I was like 11 and raised pretty much in Texas. Still this day at age 47 now still living it up in the great state of Texas. I love Texas to.

I have travel pretty much to almost all 50 states. I love my county of America so very much. I'm proud to be an American. I love to travel so much. I love learning others folks cultures. I love learning others counties languages. It's so much fun learning new things daily. I'm so glad you got to travel and see other cool counties and also got to eat some great foods. Sounds wonderful. I never been on a cruise ship yet. I been on many regular small boats. Cruised around lots of water in Maryland. I'm glad the folks were wonderful in other countries. That's great to know. That road trips sound fantastic. So cool! Good luck with all of your goals too.

Just a great story from you telling me about this in your lifetime so far. I enjoyed reading it. Some part of your post was sad, about not wanting to live in Japan. I didn't know they had that problem. Terrible! I dislike hearing someone would do that to themselves. It's sadly all over the world. Their is help out their for folks if needed too. Their is people who care out in our world who care for others like I care for folks. Hugs for life.

But I understand why you wouldn't want to live in Japan. I would want to visit Japan too but not live their for the same reason as you. I understand you completely.

Enjoy your morning, day, night, months, and years to come. Make it a great day. Cheers to travel the USA and the whole world. ๐ŸŒŽ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒ Be well and safe all year round. Very much appreciated your post. Thanks again. Smiles and hugs! Keep smiling! Keep your chin up beautiful woman babydolla. I hope all your dreams come true. Good luck! Take very good care.

All the best,
Princessa
