I highly doubt they will create a whole other room for those subjects. They could make side rooms within the current chats or take it to PM. As long as there isn’t hate speech or racism they are free to talk about whatever they please in main chat. Unless the room admin deems them as forbidden topics.
I agree, but unfortunately that depends a lot on whether the moderator in the room wants to harass you or not, because everything is a pretext for him to harass you. I've been in the lesbian room with the name Serpahim for 8 months, so there's always someone asking me what Seraphim means, because a lot of people don't know. So, I always explain, which is the name of an angel who has 6 wings, 2 wings to cover his face, 2 wings to cover his feet and 2 wings to cover his body, because the glory of God is so great that he needs to cover the face to bear the glory of God. Who in Christian mythology is my favorite angel, and is what I think is most beautiful.
No moderator ever called me out on this, and I never thought it was considered religious. Until recently, when this mod from my cover photo, came up to me in the main, angry and cursing me because I shouldn't talk about religious matters in the main, that I should explain my name in private to the guest. So I told her, that instead of me opening my pm to explain to the guest my name Seraphim, this mod could very well understand the context of the conversation. So, she kept trying to fight, and in order not to give her importance and start an argument, because she doesn't have that importance in my life, I left the room. Flame saw it all, and did nothing.
See, that's a Seraphim angel! I wasn't having a religious discussion in the main, I wasn't talking about religion, I was just explaining to the guest he asked me what Seraphim was, so I explained to him my name in the room. But this mod came at me like a snake looking for a reason to kick me, but I left the room not to give her that importance, because she doesn't have that importance to me. And it has never been a problem for or other moderators, until now, that this mod decided to consider it a religious matter. So that depends a lot on what mod is in the room and if he wants to chase you or not, unfortunately.

Yet, some people actually quite enjoy chatting about politics, and it has been that way for as long as I can remember. It would be unfair to take that away from people who enjoy a good political banter because a few don't enjoy the topic.
