If i could go back in time and change one thing without consequences i would do three things Bombard Hiroshima with Battleship HE shells from a distance with constant salvo and i would not sink the Yamato so that it could be a ww2 warship museum and i would prevent the invention of the nuke

I think that health issues aside. you wouldn't want to go back in time because the older you get the more experience you have with the earth and universe.
