Permanent sitewide age implementation

This is a resumission.
This is somewhat related to recent osiris threads. I personally think his interactions were more likely than not true, due to his "history". I also condemn any moderator that pretty much excuses his actions/comments with minors because hes a "known drunk".

However, it has come to my attention that UA user profiles may be doing questionable things.

Osiris made a recent comment about how Scarlett (16 yo profile) changed her profile age from 18 to 16.
I think thats complete BALONEY on his behalf and I do not believe him.
However, what he says is plausible.

I have personally witnessed UA profiles like Scarlett(16) and MAYA(16) change/hide their age. When they do such things, OA users can not differentiate whether theyre an UA user and thereby know in what manner they should or should not be interacting with them. Additionally, all profiles can freely change their age at will and that can lead to situations such as the one stated by osiris.

This is further proven by prior admin @Apollo claiming vgc user "courtney" has been 15 for 5 years.

While i understand people can and will lie about their age, allowing people to change or remove their age doesnt really benefit anyone.

My suggestion is to simply not allow users to change their age once their profile has been created. This will help ensure the safety of UA as well as OA users.

plausible, but what happens when people come in after it is set to 99?

going to be a lot of 99-year-olds lmfao.
Not sure how it is going to be implemented but if the idea is executed then at bare minimum it wont be an issue going forward 🙂

As far my suggestions on that,
>implement a bday input
>auto lock the account until a birthday is set by user
>auto unlock the account when a birthday is set
>For privacy concerns, do not make birth date publically vewiable but rather calculate the age based on birthday and display that.

Dont know how easy that is to execute.
