Why do threads get locked when no rule has been broken?

The second account isn't relevant to the discussion. I've made a temporary second account to chat with for the time being, so that I can chat on the site without using the "gift" that has been forced upon me.
He's not going to help you. He's just arguing with you as he does in every thread even if it's the most moot of things. I hope someone can help you out and its best you stop engaging him.
 
Ok so by all presumptions she is correct. I was wrong but its not my fault as i was being fed breadcrumbs of information and later being scolded when new information was provided to me. I have been more helpful than boba fetts stupid "likes".

Now what. Just because you post the same thread in a different topic area doesnt mean you are not posting the same thread or complaint. Contact CM as you were told in the last thread or file a civil suit with CM. Whether or not the ToS agreement is not substantial enough to provide a "notice" is something for her to argue in court

Because you’re not helping her. You’re not staff. You’re not CM. There’s nothing you can do here except complicate her issue and make things worse like you do with most threads.
I have provided her with the terms of this service of this as it pertains to her account creation date. That is helpful as it shows the ToS she agreed to. Whether or not its "legal" enough is not something anyone can help her with here.

The original topic question has been answered has it not? Anyone is welcome to provide their opinion on the matter. Ironically her own topic choice backs this. This is a place for discussion to take place .

You know, it's OK sometimes to just accept you were wrong without trying to find a way to blame the other person?

I haven't fed you any "breadcrumbs". All the information about my VIP grievance was in the other thread. I then made this thread to ask why threads are locked without explanation. No relevant information was kept from you - you just chose to make some big assumptions that turned out to be wrong.

I've contacted CM many times. When I do, I'm routinely ignored. The only reason I continue to bring it up, and look for different ways of bringing it up, is because the same problem keeps re-occurring and Chat Avenue does nothing about it. I have never instigated this issue. Other users of this site instigate it when they choose to make changes to my account without my consent (something I did not agree to when I registered with the site), so I continue raising this grievance.

Hi there, I'm not trying to argue with you or anyone here. But I will say my peace. To be very honest to with you I thought anyone can help out. You really don't have to be staff to help someone out if they know the correct answer. Just saying to be honest. I help out when I can and so does bread help out. You are 100% right. You don’t need to be a staff member to try and help someone here. Unfortunately, some people have a history of causing problems, confusion, and making things worse in general.

That is a blatant lie. No where in your previous thread does it state when your account was created. A very crucial piece of information that was left out and is imperative to finding out the terms of service that you agreed to. This information was only included in this thread, after i had responded to your previous threads issues. Had i known all this information from the get go i wouldnt have assumed you were talking about the rules on front page (which you posted) and the ToS of the site.

I admitted you were right after reviewing all new information, which was noble of me.

You are correct the topic for this thread is different but you are also bringing up the same issues from the past thread.

We are all routinely ignored. Not just you.
Whether or not the ToS has changed since you joined is a legal matter or a matter to discuss with CM as he is the only one that can help you. You are not helping the issue by agreeing to the CURRENT terms and still using the site which displays clearly that you can be gifted vip purchases. Somewhere between 2016 and 2020 the terms changed to talk about free VIP purchases. You are going to need to need that evidence should you want to pursue legal action. Seems a bit overboard but if thats the case every user here is entitled to be part of class action because no one here has been notified of any ToS changes(under the presumption we illegally agreed to them). So the VIP gifts are pretty much irrelevant.

Now back to the topic at hand,

Because the forum UMs here do not allow it. Boba has answered it and so have i. It seems ass backwards because thats the very foundation this site was built for. To have public discussion.

To the OP: The REAL answer to your question is that sometimes threads can be closed even if no rule has been broken. There can be many reasons for this. Maybe the thread has run its course. Maybe it has been answered. Maybe it’s just devolved into arguing and fighting. There are a lot of different reasons why threads get closed. As BF pointed out earlier, in your case in your other thread, it appeared that the issue was being addressed behind the scenes. Threads can always be opened later to update them.

As I said before hopefully your original main issue gets addressed by the appropriate people. ✌🏻
 
Read through this thread very carefully, your concerns have been answered. You’ve been told where to go and what to do. If CM doesn’t answer you… sorry? But we can’t do anything for you as staff so bringing up the same topic does nothing. If you don’t want your VIP delete your account? Stop making an account and stay as guest?

I hope your life gets better and I hope you stop grieving. 🖤
