Annoying Kick

Bro seb, you really kicked me. Stop defending your pe.do friend aka Lewis Winfindale aka JR.
 
For context and reason-ability, Seb (can't find his @) kicked Astro here for, presumably, calling him a moron. I get the rules in Boys Chat are flexible due to how @NorCal has configured them (and I appreciate this fact, for the record) but to kick for moderator disrespect is... well it's expected but interesting. To my recollection, this wasn't a rule in place. If it is, someone make an announcement about it because I see people abusing mods daily and mods don't always doing anything.
There's also, of course, the possibility of accusations being made against another chatter with "no proof". Everyone involved is well aware that Lewis Winfindale is a serious predator. The only question, that I was made aware of, is whether or not NorCal can prove that JR/Jonathan/Moonshine is in fact Lewis.
That's all I can really say, if anyone asks questions I'll answer with what I know, obviously Seb has the real reason for the kick and NorCal is far more familiar with Lewis's "investigation" than I am, despite me working with NCMEC and British Law Enforcement on this matter. Much love to the volunteer mods that do their jobs to the T, and much respect for NorCal who now has to deal with this headache.
 
Only person who submitted the police investigation was me, they said they know about a Lewis Winfindale. I haven't got an update since. They aren't directly searching for Lewis, but the other people that groomed me. I hope they catch Lewis too.

We may not like the OP from that thread but it's pages of moderator collaboration on Lewis Winfindale's nonce bs.

Also, Astro, under my state's law I was required to make a report to the US Social Services who contacted NCMEC and thus got British Law Enforcement involved, upon reading the above thread. Point being, I reported him too.

Moonshine is him, it's a name he used in VGC and was banned on.
 
I was looking to see if I had the SS of him being banned.

Dude wasted my time because I'll leave my pms open and if someone wants to vent, I'll listen. I spent days letting him "mourn" over the death of his wife. I found it bizarre that he began posting her photo one minute then posting memes and seeming unaffected by it all the next day. Then I was notified about him and I felt bamboozled. Suddenly, he morphed into a gay married man who was separated and looking for a boyfriend. He even changed his name and location.

The point has been made pretty well-known that Lewis Winfindale, confirmed under the names Blue Quarts, Chat Master (creepy-), Moonshine, and likely others, is a pedophile. @NorCal how difficult would it be to look up the IP Addresses to these various usernames or ask fellow General Chat Admin for the IP they had under these names and match them to the current profile? Additionally, searching the bloody IP on a reverse IP search to see if it shows up as a Commercial IP address would confirm JR is at least attempting to mask his home IP. Just suggestions. Again, much appreciation <3

Edit: I see this has been moved to EE-land... can we at least move it to Boys Chat, since this is somewhat relevant to a user in BC? If not, chill, just want to make sure this gets seen by the right people 🙂

They can do that, it would just take some help. That's how they connected IPs to "the Mod/CurryLad".

Edit: If it goes there- that's a 13+ forum with a lot more oversight than EE- BC Admin has been tagged so he sees this, if @Apollo or Chopper feels it it can stay in Boys it will I'm sure. Just keep the posts "clean as possible" please.

It's out of kick complaints because the whole thread became about "Lewis"

If you ask me, if they can, then they ought to. As you mentioned in a different thread: Nobody knows how much trauma Lewis has caused, likely not even Astro himself. I can look at 14-year-old Astro and the current day Astro and have a pretty good idea. I'd argue he's sex-addicted and he's had struggles with nicotine and alcohol. There's reasonable concerns for Astro's well-being as a direct link to this incident. The least NorCal can do is attempt the mentioned method, and if he already has, for the love of God keep us updated on it. We may not be moderators but we're ******** for flip's sake. We deserve to know what's happening where we spend a LOT of our time.

At this point, something needs to happen. That's why. This started out as Seb kicking Astro for calling him a moron (or, more likely, these accusations) but come on, even you can admit something has to happen. I've mentioned the circumstantal evidence of JR being Lewis, and it's pretty clear more can be done to make an IP match and get a ban. Why hasn't this happened? I'd love to know.
