Can't listen to audio messages

I'm on the adult chat one.
They won't load at all, either ones I send or ones I've been sent. The play button flicks over to the pause and just doesn't do anything.
The site still makes noise when I receive messages though so I know it's not like I've accidentally muted the tab.
I've restarted and I've cleared everything. I did also ask in the main chat if anyone else was having any issues and apparently it's just me.
 
Firefox is generally pretty good, not so much with Opera. Is everything up to date? Id still try Chrome or Edge to guarantee the best results.
 
Yeah as far as I'm aware everything is up to date. I'm normally pretty good at computer stuff.
If I can get my hands on a different computer or phone I'll see if I can get it to work on that. It's entirely possible it's just having a mini freakout for whatever reason. I was just hoping someone would have a solution 😅 thank you though

Yeah I can send them, but I can't listen to those either.
And as far as my settings go it all seems to be allowing that stuff. I think at this point it's an account thing because I've tried it on two phones, two computers, and multiple browsers on all of them and it's not working on any so maybe it'll eventually come back on.
 
If it’s a pc make sure your audio output is correct like going to your speakers or headphones or whatever you’re using. Find the audio icon in the bottom right of your taskbar and right click and bring up the output settings. Also check playback volumes and stuff too while here. I only mess with computers a bit so not great at it. But if you’re getting hissing sound it’s like it’s not being outputted to the right sound device.
 
Open your browser
Click settings find permissions
Find microphone and webcam set to ask first

Reload the site
Also make sure your microphone is being picked up you can check in the sound manager
