When issues are dealt in secret no good comes from it and issues are rarely resolved.
This is something we see in world history with in governments, churches and many other influential organisations.
At best you have your constituents become disenchanted discontent and suspicious of your motives and actions. Its often a cowardly act that can be construed as attempting to hide something.
At worst it allows issues, including very evil issues to fester and grow, a brief glace at the catholic church shows this. How different would have the outcome have been if that organisation had been open and honest in their dealings.
Why is it we have to deal with issues in secret in girls chat? Why is it we cant have a public and sensible discussion of the issues that affect us all? What is so dangerous or damaging about openness?
I myself have had several issues brushed under the carpet and I regularly see issues dealt with in this way. Threads are closed and people are told to use private message. Why even have a kick ban enquiries section?
As a mod I always wanted issues that ******** brought up about me in public. I wanted the opportunity either to defend myself of to see perhaps I could improve myself and act differently in the future. Were some complaints stupid and annoying? Yes they were but I would rather be able to pint this out and why publicly.
At the moment there are issues that are bubbling away causing some to be discontent. I don't necessarily agree with all the issues some have. Some who have issues I don't even like or generally agree with. But I feel all should be publicly dealt with and debated so we can at least have a sense that things are being looked at.
At the moment there is an underlying feeling that none of us really matter, that our complaints are not being dealt with.
Sores that fester lead to loss of limbs and ultimately death.
