My diet when I get paid.

I'm getting paid this Thursday and my plan to save money is to eat cheap. I'm planning on having a diet of sandwiches, cheese quesadillas, soups and the occasional value menu item at McDonald's. I say McDonald's because there is a McDonald's in my neighborhood. Really need to save money because I went overboard on my last paycheck buying CDs. Yes I still listen to and collect CDs. Not planning on buying a CD again until my birthday.

Yeah you also need some veggies. Canned veggies are better than none. You can also get some premade salads that have 3-5 portions for less than $4. You can have a small salad with your quesadilla or sandwich.
Oh yeah I totally forgot about the salads that Walmart sells! Thanx for the tip!

You’re welcome. I don’t know if you have a grocery outlet where you live but if you do go take a look in there. You can find good deals on fruits and veggies. Also you can probably get a big bag of apples for $5-$6 that will last you probably close to two weeks if you eat one a day. I think bags come with 10-14 if I’m not mistaken.

I heard the ice lasagne is to die for

I will try my bottles of water with a straw. I’ve been drinking out of my hydro flask and that seems to be going ok I just love drinking flavored things more

How bout a gallon of water, a can of oatmeal, a can of metamucil(it’ll expand in your stomach making you feel full) and a bag of carrots. Fatty. You can get this all at the dollar store for under $5.
-also do NOT get canned veggies. They are full of sodium and preservatives that’ll make you more thirsty and hungry

There is more sodium that is true but also there are low sodium veggies he could get. You don’t need to call him fatty. Also canned veggies are better than no veggies. I do like how you gave him suggestions about the dollar tree I always forget they have a food section.

I know groceries are a little more expensive in America than here, but I'm sure I can still whip up a few healthy recipes under $10. If you’re just by yourself you even get 2-3 portions out of 1 dish, which you can freeze to maintain variety while still coming down to circa $3,50 a meal.

People often associate a healthy and varied diet with high expenses, but it really doesn't have to be.
