Remembering Brad Delp (Boston)

Brad Delp, lead singer of the pioneering rock group Boston was, IMHO, one of the greatest male singers of his generation. His tone and range were incredible and combined with the musical wizardry of Tom Scholz, they created a unique sound that became a global phenomenon. Boston’s debut album became one of the best selling in music history.

Unfortunately, Brad also suffered from depression and took his own life on this day in 2007 at the young age of 55. I’ll be listening to Boston music all day today and wondering what kind of music he’d be making today if he had lived. RIP Brad 💔

I wanted to add something if that's okay. This man was a good man. He was so talented. Gone to young wow at 55. Hearing this make me so sad and wants to cry This is really sad. I wish people would not take there life. I dislike to see so many people taking there own life. I wish they could of gotten some help. I will never understand why people take their own life. This sucks big time. I dislike when people are sad and depressed. Makes me very sad. I wished I could of been there for him and knew him to say it would of been ok. Life is so short and very fragile. Still praying for his family, friends and fans all over the world. It's so sad when people have mental health issue. I wish there was a cure for mental health. I know it's real and it sucks big time. I'm sorry he had to take his life from terrible depression. May you rest in peace. No longer in pain. I'm sorry he had to deal with this. This is sad and a terrible loss. Never forgotten.
Way to young to die. You didn't deserve to die like this.
Please get help people when you need help. Asking for help is free. So many people care on this site and real life. When you take your own life you also hurt the ones left behind. There is free counseling out there. Please don't be afraid to ask for help. My private message is open if anyone needs a shoulder to lean on. I'll listen. I have some good ears. So many care on here that's what makes a good difference when people care and love each other. Hugs! Pretty please people don't take your life. I want to tell you a true story. A long time ago when I was in highschool. I would talk to him at school back in the day. I didn't really know him well. I saved this guy life. He wanted to commit suicide. I gave him my phone number in highschool and I told him to please call me. It just seem like he was sad and depressed. He really has no friends. I went to ti him first back in highschool. I just had a gut feeling that something was wrong with him and he made somebody to talk to. Nobody was there for him just me. I was able to talk to him on the phone for hours. He said because I cared and have love for people. I was able to help him out from taking his own life. He was in highschool with me. This is a true story. I'm not even lying. Life is so precious. He thanks me everyday too. If I wasn't there at that moment he would of had taken his life. I just wanted to share this with you. God bless you all. God loves you so much. Do you don't have to know someone well to save there life when they want to or try to take there own life. Have a blessed year in 2023 everybody.
