I like how he paid respect to the victims and gave props to the law enforcement officials before starting. I’m not sure I agree with everything he said but he does make some very good points. I still don’t know what the best answer to this issue is. Very frustrating.

I'm right on board with you. I'm not sure the answer but He does bring up very valid points. And I don't want our schools turned into compounds of learning. I know there is an answer. I'm just not sure what that answer is.
Republicans had a budget proposal to beefing up school security all across the country and was shot down by Democrats. Biden vetoed it to continue pushing the gun control agenda instead. Biden priority is to disarm law-abiding citizens.
Biden hired 87,000 new armed IRS agents but not one single guard for school security. What does that tell you?
Criminals don't follow laws anyway so gun control is meaningless to them, especially when guns can be obtained through the black market and bought illegally. You're only enforcing more rules on law-abiding citizens. The only real way politicians can solve mass shootings is to beef up security and not make it so easy for people to come in and shoot away.
Maybe because the IRS is a government agency and schools aren’t. Just sayin 🤷🏻♂️

There is no way in hell anyone needs an AK except if they live in a high crime, gang infested area. Guns are too available and nothing is being done to prevent homicidal and suicidal people from obtaining them. Some measures are needed. Those arguing against are doing so for a political point while innocent students are not safe in their schools. More guns are not the answer. It is time we value human life more than a fucking right to own a gun.

Who are you to say what someone else needs to protect their family? The second amendment was and is meant to insure that the people have arms to protect them selves from a tyrannical government. The individuals had just fought a war for that reason and knew that an unarmed civilization had no rights. Now if you start thinking that the common man can not stand against the US Armed Forces. Remind yourself that we just spent over 20 years fighting in the Middle East against "common Men" and their AK's. The same Middle eastern people fought off Russia and before that in south east Asia there was an 8 year war against a technologically inferior army in Vietnam.
Guns are not too available. Most mass shootings aren't even committed with the AR or the AK most are with hand guns. Education and facts are on my side of this.
Yes there are some measures that need to be done but gun legislation is not the answer. Its not a gun problem its a social economical and educational problem.

The simple answer is yes. BUT you are gaslighting and moving the goal post. Owning a fire arm is a Right in America, not a privilege. There are currently over 3000 Federal Gun Laws and over 20k at the State level. With out a National Gun Registry a complete ban of guns would be impossible. With out the National registry, since there are no boarder laws between states a complete confiscation of fire arms would be impossible, So a firearm registry would, by law, apply exclusively to legally owned firearms. Americans, and now Canadians, have pointed out that rather than helping track criminals and their guns as claimed, registration of firearms is dangerous to the liberties of law-abiding citizens, counterproductive with respect to criminals.
Unbeknownst to many Americans, who have seen and experienced mostly the goodness of America, gun registration is the gateway to civilian disarmament, which often precedes genocide. governments that conducted genocide and mass killings of their own populations first disarmed their citizens. The recipe for accomplishing this goal was: demonizing of guns, registration, banning and confiscation, and finally total civilian disarmament. Enslavement of the people then followed with limited resistance, as in Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, Red China, Cuba, and other totalitarian regimes of the twentieth century.
When presented with these deadly chronicles and the perilous historic sequence, Americans often opine that it cannot happen here. I am going to suggest you turn your studies to the amount of times a gun saved lives instead of falling into the guns are bad trap. Using your logic why aren't you throwing a fit about alcohol, vehicles, and cigarettes/vaping? How about advocating for a 2 parent home? A single income home? All of which are far more dangerous and harm far more children than any gun.
I am more concerned that you are looking to make it more difficult for Lawful Law abiding citizens the access to protection.
You are far safer in a class room in America than you are on the streets.
Yes it is a right! the second amendment. it is absolute. the words Shall Not Be Infringed. there is a reason those words are there.

You can not legislate morality. You can not stop criminals by removing the rights of a law abiding citizen.
