It seems that's how the world works...
After seeing the horrific train wreck that the Random Comments thread turned into the past week (again), it got me thinking about this thread. Thought I’d bump it up to see if maybe there could be some resolution.
I’m not sure if the point of this thread was to “protect” minors in EE or just to block them because the vast majority are annoying 😉
Either way, it’s a good topic. It should be noted that the majority of the problems and nastiness in EE comes from the “adults”. Js 🤷🏻♂️

I know this was long and most people will TL/DR, but it would be nice to try and tamp down a lot of the posts in EE that are just horrible personal attacks, days-long fighting, hateful comments etc. I know the UMs eventually step in and close those kind of threads, so I do appreciate all their work. The onus is really on the posters to think before they post or simply take the fighting to PMs. People can have fun, socialize, goof around, etc. without everything becoming a fight.

Agreed it shouldn’t be locked to minors. It’s really the responsibilty of the person posting to use common sense and some level of civility when they create a post.
Agree on this also but based on the content of many of the posts in EE, the UMs would get carpel tunnel syndrome from all the warnings they would be issuing. Again, it’s really the responsibility of the poster to think before they post. But more warnings would be great 👌🏻
Agree with the first part. Minors (actually anyone) can read anything on the forums. But there are certain areas they aren’t allowed to post (like the Adult section). As for “hardly any” sexual stuff in EE, there’s actually quite a bit. And it’s not just sexual stuff. It’s all the topics and comments of an adult nature.
I haven’t personally witnessed much of this but I believe you. I think it’s probably very time consuming for the UMs to monitor all the sections of the forums, see who’s posting where, determine how old they are, etc. And that’s assuming people actually put their age in their bio and that they are honest about it.

Look at the recent filth thread in Adult sub-forum , that too is open for EVERYONE logged in or not 18 and under to read . Now i know it won't stop but those two specific forums need to only be viewable from members aged 18+
And lets be honest being a UM is hardly time consuming and only becomes a problem if it's handled one modded correctly and fairly , which it isn't .

What a mess we have Farty Star talking about her orifices in forums yet they kicked the smiling wiener guy in chat rooms. I miss that smiling wiener guy. So it seems extreme solutions either make this a 18+ site in which case age verification we know that is a big joke or make it a 16 and under site in which case Perverted Justice would have a field day.

The users are too lazy or drunk to use their spell check. Also in fairness the spell check hates when I type UK English such as colour etc.

Why would you limit options of users and prevent them from interacting with different people? What is the benefit of segregating the EE by age? How does this improve the quality of the chats or the user experience?
I think that would alienate many of the users and reduce the appeal of the website. Most of the threads originated from Teens/General/or mixed and evolved into mostly adult compacted. I do not think it is fair or necessary to restrict us minors. I believe that users should be able to choose which forums they want to join and who they want to chat with, regardless of their age or gender.
I mean it makes sense that there are different age restrictions on the forums, but I'm talking about the restricting of minors not being able to post on EE.
I think this site is a total mess right now and @Chatmaster should do something about it, just saying.

except adults post in adult forum where no underage is supposed to post... yet they do. including underage room mods, leading reg underage users to think its acceptable.
if you dont want the kids to suffer for adults, help spread the word adult forum is 18+

My chat or forum experiences would be better just talking to adults. This allows us to discuss adult things without prying eyes. I really think there should be two Chat Avenues, one for adults one for kids, and the one for kids would not have the online hooker ads.

I only posted by accident in there once because a thread that was relevant was moved there. My post was deleted anyway I think. It had come up in my notifications and that’s why I replied.
The majority of your posts are more mature than many of the “adults” posts. 👌🏻
