Lurking guests

We should allow admins to kick guests who lurk too long.

I am sure most of us are guilty of lurking as guests at one point or another, but how much is too much?

Should guest be allowed to lurk day and night? What advantage is there to allow someone to be in chat, literally 24/7… they are either recording chat, a bot, or AFK.

Just a suggestion, but the admins should be allowed to kick guests that are lurking chat for days on end.

This will never happen because in larger rooms, there's both registered and VIP users who literally haven't typed a word in main. I know it's weird and I'm sure there are some who are being malicious, but most are looking for one on one chat. In VGC chat, there's always one bot and some who lurk to see if anyone mentions them but how would you know if they're just in pms instead?

Just guests!

Never going to happen.
Guests are being given more privileges, not less.

we should stop referring to them as guests and registered users and put them under the one banner...Traffic...or even income....depends on your stand point.

You only need to go another chat site using the same software but has relatively few paedos compare to the ultra lax and money making machine and jump in to gay chat, adult chat, teen chat and the larger rooms and play a game of spot the chatter.

There’s no way to determine if someone is “lurking” or simply in a pm. Unless there was a time-out for inactivity, maybe it could change their status to away or something like teams does.
This used to happen in classic chat. After 10 minutes of inactivity, you’d get an away sign on your username. After 60 minutes of inactivity the account was auto kicked.
