Dear Chat Avenue Team,

I am writing to express the people's dissatisfaction with the way the chat platform is managed. Loyal users of Chat Avenue have been here for maybe over a year, but lately may feel like it has become stressful or frustrating.

I have noticed that many users are unhappy with the chat environment and the lack of responsiveness from the moderators and administrators. Many issues and complaints are raised by the users, but they are often dismissed or ignored by the staff. Sometimes, the staff even close the issues without giving any clear or reasonable explanation, just citing some vague rules.

I find this very unfair and disrespectful to the users who are trying to voice their concerns and opinions. I also find it very concerning that some of the issues are related to racial discrimination and harassment. I don't understand how race can be a factor in enforcing the rules or deciding who can chat and who cannot.

I urge you to reconsider your approach and attitude towards the users and their feedback. I think you should listen more to what the users have to say and try to address their problems in a constructive and respectful way. I think you should also review your rules and make sure they are fair, transparent and consistent for everyone.

I hope you will take this seriously and make some positive changes to improve the chat platform. I still enjoy chatting on Chat Avenue, but I don't want to feel like I am wasting my time expressing other people's dissatisfactions?

I am addressing to the people who have authority over us such as you. I request that you refrain from giving me unnecessary instructions or feedback about tagging. I am capable of using my own judgement or such, thanks.
 
Your comments you have made on my thread are irrelevant and unconstructive.

The purpose of this thread is to discuss a specific topic that should be spoken about. It is not a place for you to make personal attacks or to divert the conversation to something else.

I respectfully ask you to stop posting on my thread unless you have something meaningful and respectful to contribute. Otherwise, you are wasting your time and mine.
 
I spoke only facts. You are a child. And you misunderstood her question. Those are facts not personal attacks.
I’m guessing the irony of you asking for only meaningful things be posted, when you do the exact opposite in almost every thread, will be lost on you. Enjoy your thread.

I have a few questions ...

Is this feedback about the whole site or any rooms in particular or the upper management?

This isn't a "complain thread" so would you mind giving examples of how you/users feel ignored?

Could you please list the "positive changes" you are suggesting?

Miss Motive was trying to help you to tag anyone who might be able to participate in this thread. Her suggesting you tag staff was just a bit of advice is how I read that.

I don't see it that way, and here is why...

When I see posts in the Kick/ban threads, the staff handles them very well. Some people gets system kicked for "spam", they get informed, unkicked, closed. Nothing more to talk about. Just look through most of the threads.

But then we got the perverts, trolls and nitpickers who makes one or more posts almost every day because they don't get the replies they want, and then they start long ongoing fights for 5 or 6 pages plus 2-3 new threads made after the former thread is closed. Some people can't let things go, or has to be right all the time, and most of the time they fortunately do not.

This are the threads you see the most, and that may be the reason why you have this impression of the staff.
And tbh: If I was a staff member I would get very annoyed at those people who post these kind of threads, and I understand why they call out those users every now and then.

These are opinions I have made based on my observations as a neutral point of view from a user.

Then you shouldn’t be a staff member or apply to be one. I also say that to current mods

It’s all milk and honey before shite hits the fan. Can’t stand the heat get out the kitchen because you will be disliked by one chatter and that’s all it takes.
That’s why threads are then closed/deleted/edited because the said mod who put in their application they are thick skinned ends up crying.

That’s what fucks people off.
