Good afternoon, I was just in a private conversation with a friend, in Dutch (for both of us Dutch is our native language), and when I posted my next message in the conversation, I received the message it was marked as spam and I got permanently banned.

And for not knowing why, I followed the link to this forum, to see if I could figure out why. But I cannot understand it still, other than that some combinations of letters might have been used. I do know that some words in Dutch are not allowed, The Dutch word for 'to understand' is forbidden, as it is the same as a third party site. But those words are starred out.

My username on site is Icarium (as this one), the ban was some ten minutes ago. If I need to clarify who the user was I was speaking to I am more than happy to do so.

Can someone please help me?

The general Adult Chat. Apologies to not mentioning that.
No problem 🙂

@foreverman and @Lisblanc are the room admins for Adult Chat. I've tagged them so they see this when they're next logged in and they'll respond to you. All staff are volunteers in different time zones so don't be alarmed if you don't hear back quickly

Thank you very much for picking it up so quickly.

EDIT: I am - elsewhere - talking to the same person as I was when the span ban happened. Could it be that the speed in which I posted was the reason for the system to see it as spam? (I am trying to figure out what I did wrong)

Spam bans are filter, you said something that Triggered it, just use a site to look up your ip and message the admins it and appeal your ban lol
