old comer

New Member
Multi-faceted problem. I have discussed a rather odd spamming ban with the room (Adult-Chat) Administrator who agreed the ban could be lifted. However, and for some time now, I have received the above max registrations when I try to re-register.
When I try to contact Technical Support by e-mail, it will not allow me to use my current email address, offering only two out of service, old e-mail addresses as contact options.
Room Administrator has investigated and advises the IP address is not flagged as banned.
I think this is me totally stuck. Any help will be welcome.
Room is Adult-Chat. Ident is 'old comer'.

This is an issue when u log in as a guest over the maximum number of registered accounts in a 48 hr period. You can try to go offline then clear your cache and cookies and history, then go back on line and try again. But this won’t likely work if ur on desk top. The other option is to register an actual account for your room of choice so this won’t happen again. Other wise wait out the timer. Also what email provider do u use and are you on mobile or desk top ?

I'm on a MacBook Pro which I think is similar to desktop (in OS).
E-Mail address I use is (edited out)
When I have try to (re)-register an account, it still responds with the maximum number of registered accounts flag. Even after longer than 48 hours absence.
Message has persisted over a more than 48 hour absence (registered accounts limit).
I will go over the clear cache, cookies and history actions and will wait over a longer than 48 hour period and try to register again, avoiding guest entry. Thanks for considering this.

What happens when you try logging into your old account? Can you register with a different email?

Thank you Princessa. When I tried to log in with a different e-mail (more than one) it seems the IP address is what flags the "Reached Maximum Number of Registered Accounts". Logging into the old Account also raised that flag. It is one of those Catch 22 situations.

MeowYou would have to use a different IP like log in on ur Mobil device and register using ur Mobil data. meow not saying it will work but may. then try logging into ur new account from ur home wifi. Good luck with that meow.

Waited and waited again. Still running up against the "Reached the maximum number of account registrations" I am worried about changing the device IP address in case it loses connections on other sites or apps. Can you advise if there is a real concern there or not?

You're welcome anytime and good luck.🙏

No, shouldn't be any harm in doing that. You can usually get a new IP by powering your device off for a couple minutes, or if you're using Wi-Fi shut your router off for a couple minutes, then turn it back on.

I believe it's programmed to limit the number of times one can visit the room (from the same IP address) within a certain window of time. Your best bet is to wait out the timer.
Yeah.

Move along Betty.
