False reporting definition

I'm not sure where to put this since I want mods opinions on a definition.

A mod tried telling me false reporting is reporting something not against the rules.

I tried to tell her false reporting is actually purposely knowingly reporting something not against the rules.

Just reporting something that you, a mod, doesn't agree with isn't actually false reporting.

I wanted other mods opinion on false reporting definition.

Cuz if it's just false reporting when a mod doesn't agree with the report being against the rules then alot of people would accidentally be false reporting.

I am not a mod but that is perfectly logical reasoning. I can also see how reporting any post for no logical reason can be constituted as false reporting. In a court of law, proving intent is very difficult. In a court of law, your ignorance is also not excusable.

However this isnt a court and on chat avenue mods have the discretion to warn, mute, kick, harass anyone they dont like and interpret rules as they see fit.

TLDR mods are always right and youre always wrong.

Ignorance of the law is not an excuse I know that but I am a firm believer on the intent of a rule though. For example mentioning Abe Lincoln was against slavery but still thought white people were superior to black people. A mod could reach and say it's political because anything doing with a president is political to them because they are uneducated. However the intent of no political talk is so arguments don't happen. Reaching about a historical fact you don't like and call it political to shut people up is corrupt and not the real intent of the rule.

I'm telling her to prove that your Abe Lincoln comment was intentionally made to cause an argument as she stated.

She will not be able to prove this because it will just be her opinion. It will have no substantial basis and is the equivalent of her saying I'm right and you're wrong.
